Learn How to Clear Your Energy

Energy clearing is a practice that should be incorporated daily to rid your energy field of any unwanted debris or energy that is not aligned to your highest good.  When people think of energy clearing, they think of a highly spiritual practice that they must go to a shaman or some other practitioner to do.  However this isn’t the case.  Clearing your energy should be incorporated into your daily practice so that you are not bringing with you any unwanted energies that do not belong to you.  

Energy Clearing is very easy and doesn’t have to be a complicated process.  There are many ways to clear your energy field of unwanted debris, however I want to discuss two different ways to clear your energy field. The first being the use of plant medicine such as the palo santo sticks.  

Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows in South & Central America.  It translates to “Holy Wood.”  It is used to clear and purify negative energy and transmute that energy into positive energy of love.  Palo Santo has been used by many indigenous cultures for clearing energies and healing the energetic body.  It has been found to be antiinflammatory, antibacterial and antimicrobial.  It was used by shamans to relieve colds and flu, emotional pain, and remove unwanted “mala energia’ or “bad energy”.

How to use palo santo is used by lighting the wood stick and letting it burn for 30 seconds to one minute.  Then you want to blow it out and waft the palo santo stick over the areas you would like to cleanse.  You can cleanse your body, your home, your pets, and anything else that carries an energetic vibration.  

The next method I want to discuss on how to clear your energy is the use of crystals.  The crystals I am going to mention aren’t just any crystals.  They are crystals that are used for purpose of clearing energy specifically because they do not hold on to any energy themselves.  Most crystals have to be cleansed and cleared because they have an energetic field.  The two crystals you can use to clear your energy is selenite and black kyanite.  

Selenite is a crystal that can be used to clear and purify space and energy fields.  It is named after the Greek moon goddess Selene and has a strong influence from the moon in its energy.  Selenite holds a feminite energy that is healing, protective, nurturing and pure white light.  This crystal is not meant to get wet and will get ruined if put into water.  

Black Kyanite is a crystal that like selenite can be used to clear away any unwanted negative energies.  It comes from the Greek word “Kuanos” or “kyanos” meaning deep blue.  It is a dark crystal with a texture to look like a little broomstick that clears your energy field.  This crystal protects your auric field of dark thoughts, emotional wounds and spiritual blockages.  It is a stone that can clear other crystals of previous energy and since it cannot absorb energy, there’s no need to cleanse black kyanite.  

To use the crystals for energy clearing, just wave them over your energy field.  You are within your energetic field when you are within at least 12 inches of your body.  Your energy field can be much bigger but this is a good place to start.  Wave the crystals around and above your head and then move the crystals over your chest, stomach and thighs, down your legs and below your feet.  Do this in the front and black of your body to clear energy on all areas around your auric field.
